OK GUYS i am not boasting or what.. BUT SCHOOL IS OVER! DOPE! ok ... whose up for movies, night cycling and offering me jobs... i do freelance.. ( like you all know..) but hey wait! i am asking DO YOU ALL HAVE ANY jobs to intro? like sales or office or what! yah please intro! HAHA

ok anyway been a busy time in school.. thank God that i was able to Rush out the last of my stuff before morning...
i had ALOT OF pop ups here and there.. like i printed A0 size twice because i made a mistake! haiz.. but it is over...

overall spent alot on sch stuff.. so need a job to replenish my $$ erm.. i dun think i will do Mway thing.. ( sry Rong Hui nice idea but i dun feel it) LOL
yah then Thank for for keeping my in work mode.. all night through thur to friday.. and also Thank God i dun need to RESUBMIT! that means.. i KINDA passed? i think! 0_0 but i duno the grades... dun think it will be fantastic because i know my standard... not trying to be depressing here.. haha

well I am alot more free now! THANK God .. and i got a few personal projects to do HOHO ( yeah the DIY bags)

Good Friday is around the corner.. Wait a second, how is Good Friday good when you look at the picture above, how is it good you see our dear Lord hanging on the cross. It brings much reflection upon my life as I survey this wondrous cross. No, Good Friday is good only for me but not for Jesus, becasue it meant that I will recieve mercy while he is condemned, it meant that grace is poured onto my life while blood pours from his broken body.

Lets prepare ourselves for this week. Jesus loves us dearly. Let him tell you that gently into your soul as you come this week as you prepare to set yourself apart for God.

During the busiest periods of my poly life..i look upon this verse many a times. Though all of us already know of this verse..but it speaks alot to me even in times when i felt overstress with work..or rather i stress myself out with the quality of my work..sometimes i had too much of an expectation for myself that i couldnt handle..and this verse became one of my key verses which i held on to throughout..I begin to ponder about the "basics" and have myself more focus and redirected on God..slowly more reliant on Him..

This is the year of the Sabbath. When Ps introduced the theme for the new year, I was having mixed feelings towards it. How is it possible to be rested with so many things on my hands? Family, work and ministry. Whoever say this is going to be easy year for me? I have learnt one thing. Responsibilities in life will not lessen as you grow older but will add to it. So the question is this, what am I going to do about it? Give up somethings that will lessen my burden or bite the bullet and burn myself out? Alas, True rest comes from knowing that 1. God is fully in charge and 2. dying to self.

Knowing that our lives are in God's hand helps to ease our burden, much of our unrestedness comes from worry.

Complain and envy leads to strife and unecessary stress. Dying to our rights release us from all these..

I am determined to find my rest in 2008, whatever it takes..

dropping by during this festive season to give God a big hand and thanks. well, as some know, i was sick a like, yesterday. but guess what. I AM OK NOW!!! halleilujah! praise the Lord that he has healed me before chinese new year. Well done men! Though we are of different level of fitness, we managed to finish the trekking together! It's good to see all of us cheering each other on during the hike, making sure that no one is left behind!

It's just like finish the race with the family as a WHOLE, and with Jesus at the finishing line waiting for us!

Just like the trekking, walking together in this race, in this path with Jesus will not be easy. No one say it will be easy. But if we gonna do it together, we can overcome it no matter wad! =)

22/03/07 - gonna shout out loud, Henzy David's G12 reflections

-the greatest takeback from the G12 conference, was to have God send an usher to me to tell me that "God is pleased with you."
-most touching moment, the final worship session, where all the people whom God had worked miracles in came on stage with their cards, really showing God's love and wonders.
-most passionate moment was during worship, when I truly felt that i gave my all, every single bit of it, to just Praise and Worship the Lord.
-most hurting part of body right now(18/03), my legs. diagnosis, overstrain due to too much jumping, but who cares! haha. it's to praise the Lord! haha

the G12 conference left a soul like mine with alot of thinking to do. but i guess the thing that stood out most to me was Motion creates Emotion. haha.

well, it had a sparked a revival of the passion in my soul for Christ. and now, armed with something so much greater than the world can offer, i can declare His love, His power in my life, and His majesty to the world while facing it's problems at the same time. like the scripture says, "To be in the world, yet not of the world."

My Walk With My Family + Jesus

haha..yaa!!...in every pic..keith has a new hair colour/style..lol..=PP..

ok thats not the point..=D..lol..its coming to 1year since i been into FCBC..26 March 2006..is where i made the most important decision of my life..to have a relationship with God..to be Christ-like.. the photos above just shows some of the parts that i have been through with this family.. i am so blessed to have this spiritual family.. =))

the difference in each photo i feel is that we have grown stronger in the lord as a family!..each of us may be busy with totally different stuff..but we align ourselves to always seek the lord!..

1-2weeks ago..as i prepare myself for the G12 conference..i felt that i wanted to start my 12..it wasnt really clear..and so i pray and ask God for my vision.. its been something i had always been asking ever since the start of this year of victory.. its really been made clear during the G12 conference..the first night i was reassured by ps cesar's session..he spoke about God's Vision- the redemption of all mankind..it could only happen through the Government of Twelve(G12)..as well as committment to the vision and training in the sense to prepare urself for the vision..i believe the whole session spoke to me and i am sure that i am gonna get my 12..so when ps cesar said those who wants to recieve this vision to go to the alter..i made my way there and prayed for God to walk me through this journey..

i missed the friday's day session due to sch..but i'm glad i didnt missed much cos part of it was the women's session..hahaha..and so..at nite..daniel who graduated from post-encounter gave the word..hahaha..i tink everyone enjoyed that session!..lol..i tink many things he spoke about are really things we have to do..we need to love God and not the world..and also be Christ-like and not just christians..in this session..there are many things that he said were really meaningful..Motion results in Emotion and We are nothing even with faith but without love..from here it reminds me of always going back to the love of God..reaching out to ppl is not based on methods but always reflect the love from God onto people to touch lives and love others like how God's abundant love for us=))...that nite ps cesar also said many issues like writing down prayer request...being more generous in giving/surrender things that seem important to u so as to reach for the multitudes...submitting to authority as well as having a humble heart and honour those above u=))

though its my first conference..but i tink i gained alot through this conference.. though its being tiring going to and fro from home-sch-expo-home-sch-expo-home-expo..leaving house early.. reaching home late..but i tink its all worth while=))..i'm looking forward to the next G12 conference!!

well as many of u know i was sick for the first 2 days... aRRR!! waste money sia .. plus nv get to watch 300!!!ARRRRRRRRR!!!

anyway i went for the sat session.. well half of me was listening and there is only one thing that came into my mind ... was this ... if u rely back on God he wants to bless you like those days of adam in eden ...

well thats it ...

the other thing i want to share is that today service...
i was still vry sick ... was half aslp during service... then pastor asked for those who r sick in the heart to come down but i jsut stood there... after tt everyone finished ministry and stuff.. henzy told me to go down... sad to say i did not have much faith n shoke my head... but then i felt a prompt then i thought as my heart harden? izzit me or the sickness talking??

so i decided to go down.. n the first pastor i saw i asked him.. can u pray for me i been having fever for a few days now ...

he said sure.. n started praying for me n i got slain ... when i got up.. my head felt alot clearer... my fever seems to be gone ... and i could take deep breaths without coughing ... then the pastor said he got a word for me ...
stop relying on my knowledge of God and start being a Son of God ... woah.. it hit the spot... i made alot of sense to me ... really.. because i always been applying wad i learn from church ... not really having the true gist of it .. well i guess we all got to start somewhere... well today i re expereince the love of God in my life... i been very dry for a long long time ... so Amen n PRAISE THE LORD!!!

G12 reflection!

So i went to the G12 conference on thursday night, friday and saturday. It was really a great conference! It was my 2nd time and after all the initial inner reluctance of going, the conference was cool enough to rid of the reluctance! I learnt alot, partly because im a more seasoned Christian now.

Some of the key events of the conference was when Daniel Khong, Apostle Khong's son, preached and Priscilla Khong, Apostle Khong's daughter, shared. It was a great testimony as a family serving in the ministry.

The thing i remembered the most is what Daniel shared about love.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NIV)
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

How many of you are guilty of this? I am, for sure. We're all human. But that doesn't mean we cant adapt and love each other. Here's another to add on:

1 John 4:19 (NIV)
We love because he first loved us.

To me, this love does not only apply to your brothers/sisters in church. The uncle at the shop, the rag-bone man, the beggar, the teacher and so on. Here is where the question comes in. WWJD (What would Jesus do?)
You walk pass a beggar with no legs. Do you find yourself diverting your path around the beggar so that you can save a few dollars for yourself? WWJD?

Matthew 19:19 (NIV)
Jesus replied, " 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,'and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Mark 12:31 (NIV)
The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these.

"Aiya Keith, i don't talk to my neighbours one." Hello, wrong context of neighbour. Neighbour means anyone in your marketplace. Be it school, or work, or your tuition centre etc. The bible clearly says, love them as how you would love yourself. You never know if any of them is actually jesus in disguise!

"Aiyah.. Jesus special mah. I cannot be like him, love until like that."

Ephesians 5:1-2 (NIV)
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

John 13:34-35 (NIV)
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

God wants us to be Christ-like. Be immitators of God. As Daniel Khong said, we have to be like Jesus Christ, and not just Christians.

If you find you can't love, here's what Daniel said "Motion is resultant in Emotion" This phrase means that you do the action first, the emotion will be the result. At first it might be hard to help an old lady cross the street but then after you help her, you will feel the love, the emotion.

That's about it. Remember, in all circumstances, think WWJD!

These few days, like sitting roller coaster ride like that, or like watching stock market like that. Ups and Downs.

Some of you might now know that I'm pretty busy with my school camps and stuffs. I'm actually organizing this Peer Mentoring Camp (PMC) for the year 1 from my division - to train them to be leaders and mentors, to mentor the incoming freshies next acadamic year in april. For this PMC, we'll be going to St John's Island on coming monday to wednesday. My committee managed to get this camp consultant Camp High Achievers to run the camp for us.

I was trying my best to bring the unit price to as close to $120 per pax as possible, thus i promised them that the min no. of people going will be 75, so price per pax - $127. (Then I really have more den 75 people in my list going for the camp) But just few days ago, when having a pre-camp briefing, some of them wanted to back out - thus lowering the number of people going to as low as 70. I was damn angry then. What more, my assistant, msg to told me off how she was unhappy with the way i worked and the words i used. Man. That wasn't the right time.

But thank God, I didn't reply her msg at once. Managed to take some time off to think about it and reflect. And yes i realised tat i was in one way or another wrong. Humbled myself and apologised to her. Ya. But den, the 75min limit still not solve yet. And now, just only, 1 of my camper called, she got into an accident, couldn't make it for the camp. And a couple more say they're falling sick. JEsus!

My division will subsidise 50% of the fee, so each only pay $60. But if less den 75 ppl go for the camp, the Camp HA will charge us base on the min no. 75. And the division will not pay for those who did not go for the camp. So it's like, I can only guess that the remaining sum, either I've to fork out or my society. Jesus!

But apart from all those 'exciting' situations, I thank God for this one. I was chatting with my friends last nite, thru phone, till v late at night. Was crapping. But den suddenly talked about Christianity. Lots of questions pop out from them. And one told me that most of the christian around her does not act like one, looking down on other people. But den she'll have 2nd thought: " But Ivan is not like that leh, so cannot judge all Christian like those 'rotten' ones." Jesus! I was overwhemled! Also, there were some incident that I spoke somethings into her, that address her main problem/issus. It's like she didnt tell me anything, but whatever i say will solve her problems. It's just like that foreign paster testimony. Man! God's amazing! All the while I prayed that I will be the answer to people, indeed I am in this case! Thank God!

interestingly, i chose to post this up. although i think that i'm not in a position to do so. haha. but oh well.

well. since i so love doing this kinda stuff ~lookin back at the past, review thru it and seeing where and what i can learn from it.~ then i think that it gives me so much of a reason to do so.

this was R.H.Tribe, almost 2 to 3 years back, at AhPa's wedding dinner.

this was at Grad nite 2 years ago.

The CG, at EXPO. with the addition of two new brothers, Keith, Melvin and Jiajun.

and this has got to be the most recent picture. missing* just one brother, Anthony!

so, lookin back. i realised that over the past 2 years, we've gained and we've lost. it's somehow like life. we win some, and we lose some. (sheesh, lost my trail of thoughts) notice that we've also changed and matured, both physically and mentally. but the most important thing is the bond that we have with each other, and the same goal, to reach God, seek Him, and glorify His name.

oh well. this new year, i hope and pray that the cell would grow, expand, be more faithful and loyal and umm, just grow. haha. bless you all, my brothers. and have a happy Chinese New Year!

Guys, have you ever wonder why sometimes its so hard for us to share about our heavenly father? I just came across these questions which struck me really deep. Answer these for yourself, answer really truthfully..

1. I believe that every person I know would be better of living God's way True False

2. I live my life in such a way that others around me know I believe this True False

3. I'm willing to let go of other passions so that God's people can take top
priority True False

If we look at the issue deeper, it is really our faith isnt it? At the end of the day, is the life you live for God so real, and so true and so powerful that you really believe that others can benefit from it?

God, please help me...

Broken Cisterns

Jer 2:13 "My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken Me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water."

Cisterns are water tanks that hold water. Water is the source of life and cisterns gives us the source of water we need. So then, why is a sin?

Cisterns in our modern context are our source of joy, things that seems to bring us our contentment, for example, new toys, girlfriends, our jobs and even our ministry. Think and reflect, let say you have only 1 hour per day for yourself to do anything you want. Would you rather spend the time on your favourite pastime than to spend time with the Lord? If you do, then we have missed the source of life.

If cistern if our souce of enjoyment, then God is the spring of life. Spring will never, never run out of water! God really really want us to be totally be satisfied in Him, so much so that nothing in this world really matters that much! That is then true Worship!

Choose Life today! God loves you, really!

God Is Faithful

2 Corinthians 1:20 "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "YES" in Christ. And so through Him the 'Amen' is spoken by us to the glory of God"

This verse 'Jump' at me, when I was reading the word. I have read 2 Corinthians many times but I have never thought I have seen this verse..

But it is a reminder that all that God promises in the Messiah in the Old Testament had all been fulfilled by our Lord Jesus. (About 300 Messianic prophecies like this were made in the Old Testament). And the chances of one person fulfilling a mere 8 of these prophecies are 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000.

What A Scare..

Had a scare today when Aiting called me and said she almost fainted on the MRT. I was at the encounter and had to be there early, so she would rest longer and go to church herself than to wake up as early as me..
And so while I was on the way to meet her, she gave the call and scared the hell out of me..
Thank God! It was not serious, the doctor said she stood too long and this is what happens to pregnant ladies.. Now I know why pregnant ladies cannot stand too long..so the next time remember to give your seats to them!

One of the things that crossed my mind was this, 'why am I serving' and yet something like that happens to my wife.. shouldnt I be there for my wife first when she needs me..Why should I be serving when I can't help my wife..

I learnt something today through this: what responsibility is all about.

Should our responsibility be to God first or to our loved ones.. I propose the former..

I am not saying we should neglect our loved ones, but our work to the Lord is a calling and it is holy and we should put it at the first priority but I do believe God will provide a way out for us in times of need like this..

A Plane With An Attitude

An Attitude Indicator

Do you know that planes have attitude? According to pilots, the attitude of a plane is in relation to its horizon, that is if the plane attitude is nose high, it will climb and of course if it has a nose down attitude it will dive. That is why pilots are very concern about the plane's attitude, and they will constantly checked the attitude indicator as its attitude will determine the plane's performance.

Now, don't you think like planes, our performance are also affected by our attitude? If we have a great attitude, we are more likely tol reap success than if it sucks. Now, wouldn't it be great if we, humans have an attitude indicator that will help check our performance?

What is your attitude so far for the new year? Still hot for Jesus? Still excited about the new year? Or has the workload caught up with you and seems to be getting heavier?

Just recieved news from my mum that she cant eat, dripping 'water' now. And there's a possibility that she's a bit senile now.

Conquering 2007

Hi family,

To tell you the truth, I was quite fearful about the new year, especially with many things coming up such as having a baby and the many other things that will pile up as we go along.

But God always have a answer for me when I start to contemplate about things. I did my normal excercise at the gym just now and as I was walking home, I sensed that I need to jump into the swimming pool, and this was one part of the pool that I had never been in. And so I went, without my swimming gear!

But as I jumped in, I understood why I had to be there, I was there to witness a beautiful rainbow, right up the sky where I was. God wanted me to be there to show me the rainbow and to remember his promises. (Read Genesis 9)

As we start the new year, I thought of giving us some handles how to conquer it.
We need to:
1. Face the Light - Be Transparent
2. Fight the Liar - Braced your Thoughtlife

Face the Light - Be Transparent
John 8 -12: Jesus said," I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of Life." Rainbow are formed when light is enters the droplets of water and is refracted to formed the 7 colours. To allow God to form colours of rainbows in our lives, we need to faced the light and let the Light enter our lives. How? Be transparent before Him, settle short accounts with Him every day. Consequently, if we turn away from the Light, we will face our shadow, which is our past, our darkness. So face the Light every day!

Fight the Liar - Braced your Thoughtlife
2 Cor 10: 5 "We demolish arguments and every pretension that set itself up against the knowlegde of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
All battle with Satan actually starts in our mind. The strongholds in our lives are actually us not the demons! Our thoughtlife are our fortress that Satan like to attack all the time, thus all the more we need to braced and strenghten our thoughtlife like a walled city. Guard your mind, fill it up with good things of God and reject every lies from the Liar! James 1: 13-15 is so right, we alone are responsible when we fall into sin, so be careful with what you fill your minds this new year!

Lets conquer this New Year! Remember:

Go Deep: Be a Watchmen - Trained up and be available for God's use
Look Far: Be a Warrior- Conquer all areas of your life!
Ask Big: Be a Winner - Be an example in where God puts you!

Guys, this Christmas I wanna thank God for all of you! Although all of us are different and sometimes might step on each others' toe, I know we still love each other! =) Read 1 Cor12:12-39.

Well, I also wanna share with you guys, on sat, before our dinner gathering, I had some struggles at home.

I was quite unhappy on how my family members have been treating my Grandpa. Well, on the outside, I can say that he's a grumpy guy and love to talk crap out of any small little things. That's what my family thinks and how i used to think.

Everytime my family wanna bring my grandma oversea, like say go genting, they wouldn't tell my grandpa the truth. They will say go visit my aunty in Malaysia. They rarely bring my grandpa oversea as he'll be naggy and spoil everyones' mood and also in need of toliet all the time. At home, they rarely chat with him, as compared to chatting with my grandma.

It's like, everytime they will say that he's naggy and stuffs like that. But if they were to think deeper, to the root of the problem, the problem is not him, it's us. It's how we treat him. Yes we do talk to him, uncles do visit him. But i just felt talking and visiting him is not equal to showing care, concern and love to him. It's quite crappy la.

I realised it months ago and changed the way i speak to him, or i'm still changing. I have also been trying to talk to my family about it, in a way.

On sat, I rally can't take it le coz I can really see how sad my grandpa, missing my grandma in a way. I sms-ed my dad, mum, uncle and aunty telling asking/telling them this: "How do you feel when during family gathering or even normal days, ur children seldom talk to u or show concern for you or your life? Or your children bring your spouse on holidays but lie to you saying otherwise. That's how my grandfather, your dad is feeling now. He's also a human." I really did plucked up lots of courage to do that.

Only my uncle responsed to my sms. Hope the rest read and understood what I was trying to put thru.

And my Christmas wish is year? A happy caring family, which includes my grandpa.

Conviction by the Spirit

Today the youth service was cancelled so we joined the adult servie at 9am. During worship, at first i had the 'sian sian' mentality, after the crappy day i had yesterday. But then i rmb my ah pa saying "God deserves our worship all the time, not when we feel like it". So i slowly just worship more freely. God asked me to kneel, to test how obedient i am to Him. At first i said, i don't want. Then he commanded me again. This time i knelt. I was just kneeling and singing along softly.

That's when the worship leader, Joe (not sure if he is a pastor or not), sang the song with the lyrics "Lord i worship you, i worship you. Your name is Holy". All of a sudden, i remembered the struggle with my mum yesterday and then everything happened so fast. I could feel the Holy Spirit's prescence fall upon me and i started to cry. Images of my mum kept flashing in my mind.

After the worship has ended, Pastor Khong was sharing about when the spirit comes in power. We need to thirst, believe and drink of the Holy Spirit, without regard of how much or how little you pray. Then he prayed for his 144 and youthnet 144. Then the musicians started playing and Joe led the worship again as Ps Khong went around blessing people.

Then suddenly when the same song played again, i fell on my knees and just wept uncontrollably again. I kept crying and crying, without knowing what i am crying about. I could feel the HS conviction on me and i felt so loved and accepted, after feeling numb against God. I poured all my tears out till i was dehydrated. Alvin and Ben prayed for me as i was still filled with the HS even after the service has ended. A man sitting behind me, gave me a word as well. He said it was 'peace'. I guess my turmoil i experienced, compared to others, is only trivial. But self-comparison, it was a huge matter to me. I really want to see my family saved, especially my mother.

When i think about it again, i really thank God alot for all that he has blessed me with. His help with me falling into temptaion and sin and his promises to me and my talents. I think he reads blogs in a way too, since i felt so low yesterday. Thanks Jesus.

My [late] reflection on cell retreat

Haha. Sry for this late post, was too busy after cell retreat that i dun even have time to update both this and my own blog.

Thank God there's no school for me today and tomorrow! Time to mug!

Anyway, for this year's retreat I only remembered 3 things, or rather, God spoke only 3 things to me that's 'power' enuff to have a mark on my skull. Haha. They are:

Even before we reached Austin hill, thank God for Ahpa at mac for reminding us about the Sheep and Goat. Matt 25:31-40. It's your heart that counts.
Family. It's one word that hang in my mind thru out the whole retreat.
My Vision for 2007. Serve Serve Serve!

They call Me Dad

My wife and I and our child (can you see it?)

I am going to be a Father soon and the thought of having a small kid calling me 'Dad' is one that I recieve with Fear and Trembling. I love children, their innocence and their cuteness but its one thing to play with someone's else child and having one of your own. With other people children, you play and return, but for my own, who am I going to return it to?!

I am preparing myself to be a father and will need to before the baby comes to this world. And one thing I desire: is to be a Dad of Destiny. One that will guide my child to fulfill all the purposes of God in his or her life.

I am reading the book, "they call me dad" by Dr Ken Canfield and one the things I need to teach my child to do is to Outlove the world. To teach about unconditional love, the love that always outgive and outlast. The love given by God.
To do that I would need to:
1. Fill his emotional cup (To love them and affirm them and to show them affection)
2. Extend Grace and Forgiveness (To show him forgiveness and to practice it in my own life as a role model)
3. Help him reach out to others (role model reaching out and show the way)

Isnt this the same as spiritual fathering? Lets reflect upon this.

Reflections on Cell Advance

This is the 2nd time I have brought the cell for an advance and there is a real difference between this one and the previous one. For one, I can see the commitment and the heart of the sons that God had graciously gave to me and this cell and the bonds that have been built up through the years.

Jesus last prayers for his followers are that they will be one and the one thing that truly delights our Heavenly Father is to see that the body rise up in unity. This is my prayer too, for this us to rise up united to bless this generation.

Lets keep our hearts steadfast to the Lord and see that 2007 will be a year of Victory as One!

firstly..sry for the delay on the first nite..kinda frustrated with work..and some issues i had at home..but its over after i manage to sit down and sort out..lol..hmmmm..then also until now i am still searching for a vision in life..i'm sure God will give me an ans soon..hmmmm...juz like ben..i wonder y did "treasure" and "choice" came into me.. does it have smth to do with my vision?..i wonder..hmmm..but anyway i enjoyed myself during this short period of fellowship time and also the time spent with God..i have also been more reflective on things that happened in my life..hmmm..alright..i will continue in search for my vision..juz like wad the bible says..ask and you will recieve..hope i will recieve it soon!..hehe..take care..God Bless!=)

Okay i went there with the holiday mindset but of course i was reminded by ahpa's words and i kept telling myself that im here to seek God! We had a short session on the first night then the second day we had more sessions. We learn about fellowship, unity and again my favourite, obedience. I also learn to be more accountable to my spiritual father too! One memorable moment was when Rong Hui showed his commitment and love for us, by symboliically washing our feets. Then we washed each others' feet and prayed for each other as well. Very touching! At the session at night, the Holy Spirit was evidently present as each of us was immersed in prayers and repentance. The word 'priority' was thrown into my head, as the Lord wants me to prioritize my work, serving God first above all else. This is strongly supported by Matthew 26:6-13. How i interpret this verse is this: When we have a choice to either gain profit from a particular resource or to glorify God with it, we must choose the one that leads to God becauses it pleases him and he will bless you with more!

David's Cell Advance Reflections

seriously, i don't really have much reflection of the cel advance this year, since half of the time i was plainly just complaining about the country we were in. but, one thing that i really realised is this. That if we don't concentrate on God, we won't be able to find Him.

notice that on the last night, the last session, i was desperately tryin to keep myself awake. due to the tiredness of the activities in the day, and maybe because of the food. haha. knew i shouldn't have gone swimming. haha.

its was there that i had half of a vision, half of the revelation of the cross that God allowed me to experience. it was all due to this lack of ability to concentrate on God. in the end, i finally wasn't able to see much, but i knew it was God showing me something, i could feel it. I just couldn't stay awake enough for the rest to show. just pray that God show me the rest along the way. haha.

the Time of crossing swords

what's coming up next, is my personal feelings and a short 'sermon'. read, only if you're interested. Here I go.

Basically, the time has come. It's a time where things in the spiritual realm grow and start revealing themselves, a time where we must be prepared, a time where all of us will rise up in spirit and in power.

I can sense it, in the recent few weeks, God's presence has been growing stronger and stronger with me. and my relationship with Him, stronger than ever. I feel totally different from before, and God has called me out to do more for Him than ever before. I love it, I love this feeling. its like knowing that God's always by your side, never left you ever. I want to grow strong, i want more of it. i'm hungry for Him, for His love, for His power. I wanna draw nearer to Him. I want to serve Him with all I've got. watch me. I'm gonna do just that!

However, as I grow, more and more does the dark side grow stronger, more and more do i feel the darkness of the spiritual realm. this afternoon, i distinctly heard a whistling of the star wars tune as I was playing battlefront. I knew it wasn't from the game, and i knew i heard it with my right ear. scary? but I know why, and i'm not gonna let it stop me. the closer one grows to God, the more the devil tries to scare and take you away from it. and now, after going through all the obstacles i've faced before, I ain't gonna let this take me away, I ain't gonna allow myself to fall from grace anymore. I'm gonna trust God. I know he'll make a way. I know He won't let me come to harm.

I sense that the 'spirit of the season' is rejection. i can feel it. from the people around me, from even my own experiences. I know it, somehow or rather, I just do. but in whatever I do, i'll always ask myself, "what is your fear?" and i tell myself, "If this fear is not holy fear, the fear of God, then i suggest that you cast it out in Jesus name." i find it very effective, even when i'm helping others. it plays a crucial role.

what is your deepest fear? I felt that this 'quote' is very true, and very meaningful indeed. that sometimes, we fear that we are too powerful for even ourselves. but it is true, that there is nothing wrong with bringing ourselves to the standards of those who are below us, the poor and the needy, those who need God. the Light of God, is in all of us, and it was meant to shine brightly to serve as a beacon of hope for those who know not the way. so let us all shine! Shine for God, so as to allow us to serve Him, to glorify Him! and most importantly, to save those that we hold so dear to our hearts.

Brothers and Sisters, My Brethren, let us Shine for the Lord Jesus! Let us bring Glory to God. Let us save the lost. Fret not, for if God is with us, who can be against us! Our time has come! the Hour is near, the Harvest is ready, Let's do what we can. Let's draw nearer and desire the intimate relationship that God desires more to have than us. Rise Up! the Time has come!

of worship to God

finally got to eat my macdonalds breakfast today. haha, or rather, i finally woke up for it and i enjoyed it! haha. headed for my POA paper1 shortly after that. then played some basketball after the paper. basically, my whole day was spent in front of the computer screen. gaming. and also listening to praise and worship songs.

i felt God's touch through the words of the songs, a particular one, sparked me to want to do more for God. stand out for Him. and just plainly seek Him more. but what made me think to most was the background of the song. the people or rather, the congregation singing in the background, in unity. one voice, one heart all to worship the Father in Heaven. at this point, I saw a magnificent and awe inspiring sight. that all the world was standing before the throne of heaven, worshipping God in one voice.

it just dawned upon me if that God was proud at the time that the congregation of the song was singing to Him in one voice, how much more proud would He be when the whole world gathers to come before His throne to worship Him. imagine that people of God, imagine that! so i tell you the truth, when you worship God, worship Him in spirit and in truth. don't even let one inch of your soul not go into worshipping God. He deserves it, He deserves it all.
